About Me

Therapy needs to be, genuine, approachable, practicable and comfortable for the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist to blossom.

I like to think I am approachable and relatable.   I have gone from single parenting 1 child to co-parenting 5.   I have worked in stressful big business environments and also worked for myself with all the challenges that provides.   This helps me to have a tangible empathy with most client issues.   I use an integrated approach to tailor a bespoke programme for each client rather than use a single therapy type to support clients.

I am trained to practice various methods, such as: Person Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Rational Emotional Behavioural Therapy to devise a plan for clients that helps give effective and progressive resolution.

Since qualifying I continue to undertake Continual Professional Development and am learning new things all the time.   I am DBS approved and I worked with Victim Support for a year where I found myself specialising in Domestic Abuse, Historic Childhood Abuse and associated trauma.

Qualified & experienced to support:

Abuse | Anger | Children and Young Adults | Confidence | Couples
Domestic Abuse | Depression | Grief | Historic Child Abuse
Fear & Phobias | Relationships | Self Esteem | Sexual Violence
Stress & Anxiety & similar concerns.
